The Perspective Art Browser is a web interface design that simplifies the user’s ability to make sense of an extremely large set of data; by allowing the user to engage works of art through the lenses of time and geography with a highly customizable search engine. This interdisciplinary team project was commissioned by the Carnegie Mellon University Computer Science Department during their efforts to reorganize The Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco online collection.
